10.Mistakes We Do While Weight-Loss


We do many mistakes while weight-loss.These misatkes not only disturbs your weight loss process but also causes damage to your body.
So, I will highlight 10.Mistakes we commonly do while weight loss.

1. FOCUSING ON CARDIO AND IGNORING STRENGTH TRAINING :-

While workout we focus on cardio exercise and ignore strength training this mistake is common among all. As strength training also plays one of the major role in weight loss. Strength training is as important as cardio training.As doing strength training will not only take the weight loss process to the next level but it will also build up your muscles. For the faster weight loss combine 20 min of cardio training + 40 min of strength training. It is the best workout for weight loss.
NOTE :- Do workout empty stomach in morning rather than evening,because in morning body utilises fat cells to provide energy so the weight loss process becomes faster.
Exercising for 1hr in morning will be equal to exercising 2-3 hrs in evening.

2. SKIPPING MEALS :-

If you think skipping breakfast,lunch or dinner will keep you calorie deficit then it's a biggest mistake you are doing. As you skip meals your body metabolism decreases and it gets tough for body to digest the food & hence it results in weight gain. Another result of skipping meals is that you feel too hungry and overeat in upcoming meal which results in more calorie intake & weight gain. So,avoid this mistake of skipping meals & have a healthy meal which will keep you filled up for long time such as oats,etc.

3. RESTRICTING YOURSELF TOO MUCH :-

Restricting yourself too much from the food you like will make your mind more addict to that food
You should always choose a alternative solution for the problem. For instance,If you are a sweets addict and you like to eat sweets and you are not able to control the cravings then you should eat sweets but not made from sugar but choosing the healthier alternative i.e. sweets made from Stevie,rock sugar or jaggery it will beat cravings and also will not disturb your weight loss process. But you should keep one thing in mind that though they are healthier than refined sugar but eating them a lot will also gain your weight .
So, If you want to eat sweet so you can have a small piece after the meal.

4. EATING PACKAGED FOODS :-

Nowdays you might be seeing the ads of fat-free biscuits,masala oats,and many more products that guarantee you to keep you healthy. But it is completely wrong as these biscuits & oats are filled with artificial sweeteners, excessive sodium.The artificial sweeteners damages body from inside as well as biscuits contain refined flour (maida) which sticks into intestines and is hard to digest whereas on the other hand the packaged foods such as noodles,oats,and many more are filled with sodium and many preservatives which takes its taste to the next level but the sodium in those foods holds water in out body which results in weight gain and fluffy physique

5. NOT EATING ENOUGH FIBER :-

This is another biggest mistake we do while weight loss. Soluble Fiber plays a vital role in weight loss process as these fibers absorb the extra water in our body and as they move firmly in our intestines they are easy to digest and promotes  weight loss. So you should keep fiber rich foods in your daily diet so it helps you in weight loss and prevent you from digestion problems

6. NOT EATING ENOUGH FRUITS & VEGGIES :-

Fruits& vegetables are gift of mother nature and we should take 100% benefits of them. Fruits and vegetables being high in dietary fibre and filled with vitamins and minerals you should keep vegetable salads and seasonal fruits in your diet. You should avoid packaged juices as they are filled with sugar,preservatives and are chemically processed a lot . 
You should also avoid fruit juices which you make in home or bring from vendors because dietary fiber is lossed when we convert a whole fruit in juice.
So,it is best to eat the whole fruit.

7. OVER-EATING HEALTHY FOODS :-

We think that eating more but healthy food nothing will happen but it is also a mistake we do because eating healthy food or bad food each food carries calories but bad food carries a lot of calories and healthy food contains somewhat less calories as compared to bad  foods but over-eating healthy food will increase your calorie intake though it is healthy calories but the intake of more calories will gain your weight. So to avoid these mistakes eat healthy but in small portions.

8. HAVING DINNER LATE NIGHT :-

This mistake is done by all of the people. Having dinner late night is one of the greatest mistake. This habit should be avoided strictly. To avoid this mistake you should have dinner before 3-4 hrs of going to bed. Because as the sun sets our digestion gets weak so when we eat late night,it doesn't gets digested and we suffer digestion problems and as digestion also plays a vital role in weight loss it will result in weight gain.
But all time we cannot eat 3-4 hrs before going to bed so that time you should sit in VAJRASANA position for 10mins as it increases blood flow in stomach region. And go for a slow walk [mandatory 1000 steps]

9. EATING TOO FAST :-

This mistake is also common in all. To save time we eat fast. But this practise is also a mistake.As Ayurveda suggests that 50% of the food should be digested inside mouth.So you should avoid fast eating as you east fast it gets partially digested and then our body requires more energy to digest hence,  sometimes we feel sleepy after eating. The best way to eat food is to sit on floor in cross legs position and eat in small portions and eat slowly and chew the food slowly (32 times). You should avoid eating while watching T.V & mobile. You should concentrate on food.Try this method I guarantee you that you will feel your stomach filled up in small portions just eat slowly.

10. NOT DRINKING ENOUGH WATER :-

We think water will gain our extra weight and hence, we drink less water. But this is a great mistake we do. Water is very essential for weight loss as water boosts up our metabolism and helps in proper digestion. It is mandatory to drink 15-18 glasses of water. But you should avoid liquid calories such as juices,etc which contains sugar,preservatives&unwanted calories and replace those juices by drinking more water.It is advised to drink 3-4 glasses of water (kept in copper vessel overnight) or (lukewarm water) empty stomach without brushing your teeth as it instantly boosts metabolism. You can also squeeze a lemon into it.
